In the “Appointment Notes” space you  can indicate the name of the Attorney that you wish to book an appointment with if you have a preference as well as any other relevant information; or

3.  Via email (19DundonaldStreet@gmail.com).

In addition, virtual appointments must be paid for in advance in order to be confirmed.

Cost of a Consultation

The general price of a Consultation with our Attorneys ranges from Three Hundred ($300.00) to Five Hundred ($500.00) Trinidad and Tobago Dollars. Feel free to contact us for further details or confirmation.

What happens at the Consultation?

At your Consultation, you will meet with one of our Attorneys (as per your choice/ designation or as selected by us). We will advise as requested on your matter, including any next steps and the cost of further legal work.

Do I have to come in to your office to meet with you?

No, not necessarily. We offer both in person and virtual appointments at this time.

Do you offer free Consultations?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer free consultations at this time. However, we offer Legal Clinics from time to time, so you can sign up to our Mailing List or follow our Social Media pages to get information on our next session.

Can I just ask you a quick question on […] on the phone or on Social Media?

We are not able to provide informal legal advice to any person that is not a paying client other than through our designated Pro Bono Clinics/ CSR initiatives. The answer to practically any legal question is “it depends”. In order for us to give a proper and well reasoned response, a consultation is required. We get a high volume of communication on a daily basis and answering queries from persons that are not our clients takes away time, resources and dedication to our current client base and it also carries a significant risk of liability for us.

Legal Fees:

___________________________________________________________

How do you charge for your services?

At or as soon as possible after your consultation, you will be provided with the applicable hourly rate for the Attorney working on your matter as well as an estimate/budget for the matter.

We also offer fixed-fee and other flexible arrangements for some matters.

Do you accept deferred payments at the end of the matter (contingency fees)?

We do not. According to Part 10 (3) of the Code of Ethics under the Legal Profession Act of Trinidad and Tobago, contingency fees for Attorneys in Trinidad and Tobago are strictly prohibited, save for agreed commission fees on liquidated claims. However, we may be able to provide payment plans.

What types of payment methods do you accept?

Payments are accepted in cash/cheque/card at our office. This is subject to limits and may vary depending on the Attorney handling your matter, so please make enquiries in advance.

Online payments are accepted via wire/ interbank transfer to our Bank Account, the details of which can be forwarded to you.

We can also now accept payment online via Credit/Debit card through WiPay (https://wipaycaribbean.com). If you require an invoice/ payment form to pay by card, please send us an email (19DundonaldStreet@gmail.com) and a form will be sent out to you.

What if I can’t afford an Attorney right now?

We offer flexible payment arrangements (including payments via Standing Order). If you qualify for Legal Aid, you can also contact the Legal Aid and Advisory Authority of Trinidad and Tobago to apply for aid and request that we act as your Attorneys.
