Covid-19 Response at Titan Chambers and Resource Centre

13th May, 2020

As always, we sincerely thank you for your support and for allowing us the opportunity to be of service to you. We understand that this is a very trying time for most persons. Our aim is to continue to serve you while keeping you and ourselves safe. Legal services have been classed as “essential services” during the mandatory stay at home period in Trinidad and Tobago. However, at an early stage Chambers took the decision to close the physical offices until 16th April, 2020.

We are pleased to announce that we have re-opened on a phased basis BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

If you have an existing matter with us that is urgent, we will contact you. If you have a new matter that is urgent, please contact us at the earliest possible opportunity. With respect to any matters that would have come up for hearing within the period (March 16th to present), we will contact you as soon as we receive a new date for your matter.

If you had a matter before the Magistrates’ Court (Petty Civil, Criminal, Traffic or Inquest Court) between March 17th and present, your new date is three (3) months’ from the old date.

Some government services, including services dispensed by the Ministry of Legal Affairs, are operating on a reduced and/or “essential business only” capacity which affects our operations.

However, we are still available to deal with contentious and non-contentious matters (drafting contracts, rental agreements, deeds, wills, corporate and commercial matters, negotiations, giving legal advice etc.). In the interim, you can access our virtual practice (see below) or you can contact us for an appointment to come in.
